Having a website and a full online marketing strategy is one of the most important things you’ll do for your business. So don’t worry, in this article I’ll give you all the insights about where to start and what to do.
What you need to create a website
There are basically 3 things you need:
- A domain name
- Web hosting service
- The website
Is the “address” your customers will use to access your website, sometimes it starts with “www” and is followed by your chosen name.
It ends on .com, .net, .org or any of the allowed TLD’s.
The cost is around $15/USD a year.
Web hosting service
The web hosting is the service that hosts your website, is a digital storage of the files forming your web.
Prices vary from $5 to $20 USD/month and even more, depending on the type of web hosting.
If you’re just getting started, the most basic web hosting package is enough.
And of course, you need to create the website. The website is made of pages, and the pages are made of text, graphics, photos, videos, documents and others. It’s up to you and to your business needs to define what will you add to your website.
